Who is Vitalsys?
Vitalsys is a dynamic company specialised in Telemedicine Integration systems & services for Telemedicine combined with the distribution of medical technologies in the benelux.
The company promotes existing validated medical vital sign monitoring systems for hypertension, heart diseases, respiratory problems, diabetes en more ... .
The masterpiece of these systems is the Vitalsys telemedicine platform named VitalCare. It allows the secure processing of medical data (reception, transmission, saving, graphical presentation, statistics,...).
Vitalcare respects also the guidelines of the commission for the protection of the privacy

How it all started...
Vitalsys was founded at the end of 2002 in Brussels with a particular vision: " To track the health of people constantly". At the moment 8 persons are working for Vitalsys. The Vitalsys-team consists out of medical specialists and technological experts who, for instance, contribute to the Belgian Governmental Telematics Commission.
Mission
Vitalsys’ mission is:
"Care is not a matter of distance".
Using technology to give patients a better quality of live is our purpose. Our technology makes it possible to take care of people without frequent hospitalisation.
Our purpose is also to be able to continuously inform physicians of the evolution of vital signs from their patients, in real time and with the aid of telemedicine and technology.
It is also possible to track patients at home in their everyday environment. It reduces the admittance into hospitals and improves the quality of life of patients. When it's necessary to admit a patient to the hospital , this technology can help the physician to select the right time to do so. This reduces the stress of an urgent admittance to the hospital.
