After the patient has taken the intelligent pill with water, it uses the stomach muscle to go through the stomach-duodenum-jejunum and ileum-colon-rectum. At the same time, it consecutively take photos of these parts, converted to a digital signal to the Image recorder  the patient has outside, and recording the image data.

 

The working time of the intelligent pill can reach to 8-10 hours, and can then be drainaged from human body.

 

The doctor can see clearly the whole alimentary canal and make a diagnosis.

The Capsule Endoscopy System is intended for the visualization of bellyache, diarrhoea, hemorrhage of digestive tract, small intestine cancerous, Crohn¡¯s disease and other small intestine diseases. The indications of the device are:

1. Patients with hemorrhage of digestive tract but reason unknown, and these whose tests for the upper digestive tract and bowels endoscope examination are negative
2. Patients with other tests display abnormity of small intestine
3. Patients with various inflammations of intestines, except ileuses and narrow intestine
4. Patients with unexplainable bellyache and diarrhoea
5. Patients with small intestine tumor (benign, galloping, or cancerous)
6. Patients with iron deficiency anemia with reason unknown
