Heart and stress screening on ECG basis UNIQUE FEATURES
-3-lead ECG -Real time ECG display -Detailed evaluation software -Analyses heart rate variability (HRV) -Compiles Cardio Stress Index (CSI) -Generates an Electrocardioportrait (ECP) HOW IT WORKS
The new viport event recorder helps doctors and patients to detect irregularities in the ECG. Thus it’s invaluable for risk patients and gives them peace of mind in their everyday life. The viport event recorder enables the users to record and store ECG-data themselves – quick and easy, either at home or on the move.
THE ADVANTAGES
-Monitoring of risk-patients at home -Medication control -Mobile application during home call -Measuring heart stress load by analysing heart rate variability MEASUREMENTS
The ECG signal is transferred via three electrodes at the back of the device. These are pressed against the body in the heart region at the upper left chest.
The viport has a handy triangular shape to allow for convenient handling of the instrument in different situations. In order to obtain a reading, first place the viport against the chest wall as directed, and hold it steady in this position for two minutes.
To start the reading, simply press a button on the device. An acoustic signal indicates when the reading is completed. While the viport is taking your ECG reading it also analyses the incoming ECG signal using mathematical algorithms, which incorporate not only selected morphological criteria (QRS) from the signal but also various heart rate variability parameters – the variation range of individual heart beats.
Once the reading is completed, the results appear on the integrated display. These are given numerically through the defined cardio stress index on a scale from 0–100. The display also shows the median heart rate per minute, the duration of vascular excitation (QRS complex) in milliseconds, the standard deviation of heart rate variability (SDNN) and indicates possible arrhythmia. THE ELECTROCARDIOPORTAIT– ECP
The readings for heart rate, cardio stress index and heart rhythm are shown graphically in the form of a three-dimensional, coloured portrait of your heart (electrocardioportrait – ECP).
Each section of the electrocardioportrait represents specific information. For example, green-coloured areas indicate that the reading complies with the standard value stored in the device. Red or purple-coloured areas, on the other hand, indicate deviations.
The figure below illustrates the colour-coded areas that correspond to different electrocardioportrait results.
The representation of the result on the display of the viport is as simple as brilliant. The temporary cardiac stress (Cardio Stress Index - CSI) is represented in the colors of the traffic lights. The green color in the cardiac portrait means no deviation, the colors yellow and red note weak or important deviations compared to the standard data recorded in the apparatus.
Green and blue: No deviation. |
