Heart rhythm impairment

What are heart rhythm impairments?

Everyone has from time to time problems with palpitations, for instance in an exciting situation. But when  your heart does this often and long, it is wise to consult your physician. You may have heart rhythm impairments.

When you have a heart rhythm impairment, the heart chambers contract faster than normal. In general, the rate is 60 to 100 times/minute. With a heart rhythm impairment it can go up to 150 to 200 times/minute. At this rate you can feel dizzy and nauseous.

Is the heart beating over 250 times/minute, it will transport not enough blood. This can lead to unconsciousness and can be life threatening, especialy for people that have already had a heart attack or if the heart was already damaged by other diseases.
